Cognitive Vitality is a website that reviews food, supplements, and drugs thought to improve brain health. While at the creative helm at the Alzheimer’s Drug Discovery Foundation (ADDF), I oversaw the complete overhaul of the site, creating user-friendly and mobile-ready layouts to make scientifically rigorous findings accessible to a general lay (and typically older) audience.

Ratings can be viewed as a grid with images or as a list. A robust set of filters allows users to view products based on ratings or product type.

The site also features an active blog that offers insights about the latest brain health news, theories, and findings.

On the ADDF’s main website, I designed a tool for users to explore the organization’s portfolio of funded grants. The interactive drug discovery pipeline allows people to learn about the different stages of drug development.

In 2021 I led the re-design of The Michael J. Fox Foundation’s (MJFF) email series. The Foundation sends over 500 emails a year, and we created a set of modern, clean and on-brand templates that serve a wide array of communication needs. We utilized flexible modules to ensure communications feel different and fresh, but always part of a cohesive whole. On the back end, we streamlined email builds to minimize the need for bespoke assets for each send.

To accompany this re-design, we created a detailed, easy-to-use guideline document geared toward content creators and external partner agencies, to ensure that every stakeholder has the tools they need to create engaging and high-performing emails. This document includes a library of templates and modules, technical specs, and a best-practices section.
